Singer John Legend Becomes Member of Vox Media’s Board of Directors

Proving once again that news media and Hollywood are the same propaganda arm of the Democrat party, Vox announced that singer/songwriter John Legend has taken an official position within the leftwing media outlet.

The Hollywood Reporter wrote on Feb. 19 that Legend “is joining the board of directors at Vox Media.”

The outlet said that the EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, Tony) winner “will serve as an independent director alongside former Yahoo executive Susan Decker and Wasserman CEO Casey Wasserman.” Vox Media has been looking to invest further in video and audio storytelling with large scale projects like the production of high-budget streaming series.

Recently, Vox produced AppleTV+’s anthology, Little America, a dramedy series about immigrants living in America written by Hollywood screenwriter/actor Kumail Nanjiani.

THR claimed Legend would provide great insight for more projects like these. He “brings a deep knowledge of the entertainment industry, which could prove valuable for the publisher.” Vox CEO Jim Bankoff said the same, celebrating Legend’s move via social media.

On Twitter, Bankoff claimed, “Grateful to @johnlegend for joining our @voxmedia Board of Directors. He embodies so many of our company values and his perspective and experience will help guide us to new heights as we build the leading modern media company.”

John thanked Vox for the opportunity in statement, claiming, “I’m excited to join Vox Media’s board. Vox Media is an innovative company creating content that shapes the conversation about so many of the most important things happening in the world.”

Legend’s wife, model and vocal Twitter lefty Christine Teigen already works for Vox. THR wrote that Teigen’s “Suit & Thai Productions is producing a slate of original food programming for Hulu with Vox Media Studios and David Chang’s Majordomo Media.” Vox added that they are “lucky to be working with them both.”

Legend is an excellent choice for Vox. He’s an entertainer and crosses off all the outlet’s political boxes. He loves Planned Parenthood, loves calling President Trump a “piece of shit,” and is so woke that he has helmed updates of classic Christmas songs to promote militant feminism.

Legend and his family have also been praised by the media as the “first family we could believe in” as opposed to the current first family. Today, they’re taking over Vox, but tomorrow they could be headlining CNN primetime. It makes no difference.
